Bookings, changes and refunds
We do not take bookings, hold reservations or process refunds. Every departure listed is sold by the operator that runs it, and your booking confirmation carries their contact details. For a date change, a cancellation or a question about your pickup time, go to them directly — they are the only people who can act.
Who is behind the site
Prices, fees and access are checked by the Mount Batur Tours team, and the date on every page moves when that check happens. We are not the operators, the trekking guides’ association, the Bangli regency tourism office or the geological agency that monitors the volcano.

Getting there
About an hour from Ubud and two hours from Seminyak or Kuta by road. Every departure listed includes a transfer from its stated pickup zones — the getting there page has the drive times and the gate on the caldera road.
Hours
The mountain has no gate and no opening time. Treks start walking at about 03:30 to reach the rim for a 06:00 sunrise, and one departure climbs in the afternoon for sunset instead.
